Welcome to the Excelsius Marketing Solutions (EMS) Cold-Calling Team! Follow these detailed steps to get started and ensure a smooth and effective onboarding process.
1. Join Our Discord Server
Objective: Access additional resources, support, and community engagement.
How to Join:
- Visit our Discord server to connect with the EMS community.
- Gain access to valuable channels for support and collaboration.
2. Select a Local Target Area
Objective: Identify a location with a high concentration of lawn and landscaping businesses.
How to Research:
- Google Search:
- Open Google and search for “lawn and landscaping near me.”
- Review the map and business listings to gauge the density of landscapers in your area.
- If the number of landscapers is low, consider targeting another nearby town or location with a higher density.
- Google My Business Map:
- Utilize the Google My Business map to visualize the concentration of landscapers geographically.
- This will help you pinpoint an area with a larger potential customer base for your cold calls.
3. Download and Set Up the TextNow App
Why TextNow?
- Supports FREE unlimited calling and texting over TextNow’s Nationwide Network.
- Protects your personal phone number for safety and privacy.
- Allows you to select an area code that matches the locations of the businesses you are calling.
Steps:
- Download the App:
- Visit your app store and download the TextNow app.
- Sign Up:
- Open the app and complete the sign-up process to create your TextNow account.
- Area Code Selection:
- Choose an area code that aligns with the locations of the businesses you intend to contact.
- Avoid “locking in your number” or subscribing, as you may need to adjust locations frequently.
4. Generate Your Leads
At EMS Headquarters, we have developed a reliable method to source credible leads in any town, state, or area across the US or globally. This approach connects you with business owners who currently do not have a website.
Generating Your Own Leads:
- Google Search:
- Search for “landscaping” or “lawn care” businesses in your target area.
- Scroll through the “Google Business near me” section.
- Click “More businesses” at the bottom of the list to expand your search.
- Identifying Leads:
- Focus on businesses without a website link in their listing.
- Carefully review each listing to ensure no website is listed elsewhere.
- These businesses present excellent prospects for your outreach efforts.
Requesting Leads from EMS:
- Visit Discord:
- Join our Discord server to access additional resources and support.
- Submit a Request:
- Navigate to the #leads channel within Discord.
- Post a message containing your name, desired location for leads, and any leads you have already identified.
5. Start Cold Calling Before You Start:
- Review the cold-calling scripts available in the #cold-call-scripts channel.
- Explore tips and tricks shared in the #training-materials channel.
Making the Calls:
- Utilize the TextNow app to initiate calls to the leads you have generated or received.
- Follow the provided scripts and tips to enhance your effectiveness and success rate.
6. Sending the Customized Email Template After Closing a Sale
After successfully closing a sale, utilize our customized email template. This template is editable and includes fields for inserting your name, contact information, and the customer’s name.
Personalization:
- Ensure to personalize the template with relevant details before sending it to the customer to maintain a professional and tailored approach.
7. Post Your Results:
- Share your achievements and results in the #results-and-achievements channel. Your success stories inspire and motivate others within the community.
